Why stable housing matters

Veterans and men with disabilities are more likely to experience homelessness and longer periods of housing instability. A quiet, affordable home in a safe neighborhood gives people a base to:

  • Keep appointments and stay connected with community supports
  • Search for work or maintain employment
  • Save for deposits and move toward long-term housing

Lighthouse partners with local housing, veteran, and community agencies to prioritize housing-insecure veterans whenever possible.
