Is Lighthouse a good fit for you?
Our homes may be the right next step if you’re ready for stability and shared living.
You may be a good fit if:
- You are a man 18 or older with no safe, stable place to live
- You are currently in a shelter, staying in a car/tent, or unhoused
- You can live in a shared home and follow house rules
- You are working, looking for work, or enrolled in school or training
We frequently work with:
- Veterans
- Men with disabilities
- Men returning from incarceration
- Men referred by shelters, hospitals, social service agencies, or family members
Why stable housing matters
Veterans and men with disabilities are more likely to experience homelessness and longer periods of housing instability. A quiet, affordable home in a safe neighborhood gives people a base to:
- Keep appointments and stay connected with community supports
- Search for work or maintain employment
- Save for deposits and move toward long-term housing
Lighthouse partners with local housing, veteran, and community agencies to prioritize housing-insecure veterans whenever possible.
